Fashion News: Robbie Williams & Ben Dickens chat to Dylan Jones at launch of Farrell at Selfridges

 

To mark the launch of Farrell at Selfridges, Robbie Williams and his design partner Ben Dickens held conversation with Dylan Jones on the rooftop of the infamous department store in London.

 

Speaking about the collection, Williams said: "I see myself as a DJ of clothes. I remix things I like - it's a lot like music. I know what I like - every piece in the collection is based on pieces from my own wardrobe which I love."

Now available in all Selfridges stores and online, Farrell is described as "a brand for every guy".

One of my favourite looks this season is definitely 'smart casual'. On paper, trainers with trousers shouldn't work, but, it actually really does. For a great summer outfit, I say pair some on-trend Nike Lunar sneakers with trousers and a plain white tee.

Fashion News: Farrell to Launch at Selfridges

Farrell - the brand inspired by Jack Farrell and devised by his grandson Robbie Williams - is set to launch its AW12 collection at Selfridges. Housed in the stores first floor menswear department, the brand will sit alongside contemporary labels such as The Kooples, Acne and A.P.C. Launching August 30.

Fashion News: Nicholas Deakins and Harris Tweed launch London Pop-up Store

British heritage brand, Nicholas Deakins are set to launch their first ever pop-up store in collaboration with Harris tweed. Opening on August 13 at the fashionable 47 Lamb's Conduit Street, London, the Leeds based label will showcase their autumn/winter 12 collection of clothing and footwear. Open from August 13 - September 8.

To celebrate the debut London Collections: Men shows in June, Mr Porter has collaborated with the infamous shoe maker Jimmy Choo, to create a short film showcasing the brands exciting new AW12 collection.

Shot on location in London, the video follows two characters on a revealing journey of a day and night in the life of the modern gentleman. I think it's pretty cool, what do you think?
