So why the new shoe? Each year, on the day of St. Crispin, Lobb reveals a limited-edition design to help illustrate why, after 150 years in the biz, he is regarded as one of England's finest bootmakers.

Anything different this time round? I'm glad you asked, as this design is the first to be made in the form of an ankle boot!
