On the day of St Crispin (October 25), the patron saint of shoemakers, John Lobb, will proudly announce the launch of its 2012 limited edition Saint Crepin (above), plus the opening of their very first UK online shop.

 

So why the new shoe? Each year, on the day of St. Crispin, Lobb reveals a limited-edition design to help illustrate why, after 150 years in the biz, he is regarded as one of England's finest bootmakers.

Anything different this time round? I'm glad you asked, as this design is the first to be made in the form of an ankle boot!

Sometimes we can find inspiration from the strangest of places... But, whether what you are being inspired by is morally right or wrong, I say just go with the flow and be enthused!

 

 

Although not best known for its dapper wardrobe and costume design, Stuart Little is actually pretty darn stylish. From checked blazers to quirky bow ties, the film, if you look closely, is full of brilliantly dressed men (and mouses). Don't believe me? Watch it again, I urge you.
