Heavy Eco - Helping a good cause

Just because something or someone seems to be lost, it doesn't mean that they don't have a future.

This is the belief of Heavy Eco, whom gives Eastern European prisoners a chance to do something good and rehabilitate themselves.

Utilising their creativity, prisoners design unique products ideal for the fashion conscious male.

Durable and practical bags are cleverly constructed from discarded billboards, whilst organic t-shirts are  inspired by old-school Russian prison tattoos.

But by no means are the brand promoting prisoners. In fact, they are trying to prevent people from committing crimes. Heavy Eco believes the roots to jail lie in childhood, so that's why 50% profits are donated to help homeless and orphanage children. And, of course all artisans involved (including convicts) get paid for their work!

Visit Heavy Eco now to read the story, and discover more.
